Poor sleep is associated with worse health and mental health outcomes and sleep deprivation gets in the way of our concentration, memory and our ability to learn. Byprotecting our sleep quality, we protect our health and mental health.
In this 1-hour workshop we offer a guide for all who are interested in achieving better quality sleep. We explore the science of sleep, what sleep is, why we need it and what goes wrong with sleep. By understanding what gets in the way of sleep we are able to target the specific issues with techniques and strategies from evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
